It definitely does, but not by the standards of the winner on last night's show. Some of the acts last night were great - and that includes some of the dancers too, but how did that Billy Elliot'ing Timberlake wannabe end up winning the final.

Oh well... roll on Big Brother 17, or whatever we're up to.

Bravo... see how we dance! Britain has plenty of talent. Best thugs in the world, Best drinkers and pukers. Most hated country in Europe - if the results of last weeks Eurovision song contest were anything to go by. There's plenty to be proud of  right here in Great Britain, and I haven't even mentioned our greatest man of the moment, Mr Gordon Brown, best chancellor in the world ever... so the labour party keep reminding us.

And what fine sports shall we excel in at the Olympics - our Olympics, come to that. The 20 metres 'lets all prance together and cross the line holding hands as a team' . Or what about the 'The glued-on egg and spoon 15.5 metre fast-walk along a protective foam safety mat' dash.

I reckon give George his dues. He seems really popular with everyone I've heard talk about him.
